Yesterday we joined leaders, innovators, and defence stakeholders at the European Defence Innovation Forum (EDIF) in The Hague – a platform focused on accelerating strategic cooperation, innovation, and resilience in Europe’s defence sector.
Key insights we took away:
Industry in times of war – Europe must move from talking to doing: plug & play solutions, fast adoption, and urgent innovation.
NATO’s message was clear: peace through strength. Threats from Russia will be met with overwhelming force, and NATO must remain stronger, smarter, and united.
Technology domains shaping the future of warfare: cyber, aerospace, and quantum computing.
Ukraine’s frontline innovation – they act fast, test fast, and scale cheap solutions that can damage high-value assets (hundreds of millions). Europe needs to learn from this urgency-driven model.
